RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Elizabeth A. "Betty" Cullerton has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of her passing by Alderman Edward M. Burke; and .
WHEREAS, Elizabeth A. "Betty" Cullerton was the loving wife of the late Honorable Thomas W.; and
WHEREAS, Elizabeth A. "Betty" Cullerton was the much-adored mother of Denise, the Honorable Timothy, Diane, and Patricia Jo and the grandmother of 10 and the great-grandmother of 17 to whom she imparted many of the fine and noble qualities that she possessed in abundance; and
WHEREAS, Elizabeth A. "Betty" Cullerton was a proud Chicagoan whose husband, Thomas, and son, Timothy, both served as Alderman of the 38th Ward; and
WHEREAS, The hard work, sacrifice and dedication of Elizabeth A. "Betty" Cullerton serve as an example to all; and
WHEREAS, Her love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Elizabeth A. "Betty" Cullerton to her family members, friends and all who knew her, and enabled her to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; and
WHEREAS, To her beloved family, Elizabeth A. "Betty" Cullerton imparts a legacy of faithfulness, service and dignity; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and the members of the Chicago City Council, assembled this sixth day of September, 2017, do hereby commemorate Elizabeth A. "Betty" Cullerton for her grace-filled life and do hereby express our condolences toAier family; and
