ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:
SECTION 1. The City Council finds that the areas described in Sections 2 and 3 of this ordinance are adversely affected by the over-concentration of businesses licensed to sell alcoholic liquor within and near the areas.
SECTION 2. Section 4-60-022 of the Municipal Code of Chicago is hereby amended by inserting the underscored language as new subsections 4-60-022(16.79) through 4-60-022(16.86), as follows:
4-60-022 Restrictions On Additional Licenses.
Subject to the provisions of subsection 4-60-021 (c), no additional license shall be issued for the sale of alcoholic liquor, for consumption on the premises within the following areas:

On 57th Street, from Ashland Avenue to Laflin Street.
On 57th Street, from Laflin Street to Loomis Boulevard. (16.81 )On 57th Street, from Loomis Boulevard to Throop Street.
On 57th Street, from Throop Street to Racine Avenue.
On 57th Street, from Racine Avenue to Aberdeen Street.
On 57th Street, from Aberdeen Street to Morgan Street.
On 57th Street, from Morgan Street to Peoria Street.
On 57"1 Street, from Peoria Street to Halsted Street.

SECTION 3. Section 4-60-023 ofthe Municipal Code of Chicago is hereby amended by inserting the underscored language as new subsections 4-60-023(16.70) through 4-60-023(16.77), as follows:
4-60-023 Restrictions on additional package goods licenses.
Subject to the provisions of subsection 4-60-021 (c), no additional package goods license shall be issued for any premises located within the following areas:
