MEMORIAL RESOLUTION FOR LINO C. STRAZZ
WHEREAS, It is with great sadness that the members of this chamber learned of the death of Lino C. Strazz on October 17, 2018; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of Lino's passing by the Honorable Margaret Laurino, Alderman ofthe 39th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Lino was born on May 1,1929 and beloved husband to the late Mary Strazz (nee Golden). Left to cherish his memories are his loving daughter, Julie S. (David) Graham, and son, Peter Strazzabosco; his adoring grandchildren, Allison and Benjamin Graham and Isabella and Leonard Strazzabosco; dear brother, Donald ( (Gloria) Strazzabosco; a host of extended family and treasured friends; and
WHEREAS, Lino was a dedicated and hardworking man who built a long career serving as a real estate professional in Chicago, including his work at the F.C. Pilgrim Company and Draper and Kramer, Inc.; and
WHEREAS, Lino further demonstrated his passion and commitment in his chosen field by having served in 1982 as the President of the Institute of Real Estate Management, Chicago Chapter; and
WHEREAS, Lino was appreciated for his kindness, generosity, personal charm, and vivacious spirit. He will be deeply missed, but the memory of his devotion to family and friends, along with his character, intelligence, and compassion, will live on in those who knew and loved him; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and Members of the City Council of the City of Chicago, assembled this twelfth day of December, 2018, do hereby extend our heartfelt condolences to the family of Lino C. Strazz; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy ofthis resolution be prepared and presented to the family of Lino C. Strazz as a sign of our deep honor and respect.
