Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force hereinafter its passage and publication.

Dear Alderman Reilly:
Per your request, the Chicago Department oi' Transportation has completed a cpsi estimate Ibr changing tlie direction of travel on Garland Court between Randolph and Washington to one-way southbound. The scope of this estimate includes removal of the bump out at the southeast corner of Randolph and Garland, as well as signage and pavement marking modifications. The conceptual plan is attached for your information.
This project is estimated to cost $28,000. A source of funding is required in order (o proceed wild construction, lf you would like to use your Menu funds, please sign and dale the letter below arid return it to our office by faxing it lo 312-744-1200. An ordinance is required to enact this directional change. At your earliest convenience, please introduce the following ordinance to City Council:
