RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Marianne L. Viverito has gone to her eternal reward at the age of 55; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of her passing by Alderman Edward M. Burke; and
WHEREAS, A resident of Oak Lawn, Marianne L. Viverito was a dedicated public servant and the loving mother of Jack and Steven Chmela; and
WHEREAS, Marianne L. Viverito was the beloved daughter of Stickney Township Supervisor Louis Viverito and his wife, Carolyn, and the dear sister of Diane and Dean; and
WHEREAS, A cherished friend and colleague to many, Marianne L. Viverito was full of life, fun-loving and kind and possessed a smile that that lit up a room; and
WHEREAS, Marianne L. Viverito was a graduate of Queen of Peace High School in Burbank and Fox College where she studied business; and
WHEREAS, Marianne L. Viverito ably served for more than a decade as an aide to United States Representative Daniel Lipinski where she assisted constituents who sought help from the Congressman's office; and
WHEREAS, Marianne L. Viverito was previously employed by the Cook County Circuit Court; and
WHEREAS, Marianne L. Viverito served as a Worth Township Trustee from 2012 to 2013; and
WHEREAS, The hard work, sacrifice and dedication of Marianne L. Viverito serve as an example to all; and
WHEREAS, To her beloved family, Marianne L. Viverito imparts a legacy of faithfulness, service and dignity; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and the members of the Chicago City Council, assembled this twenty-fifth day of January, 2017, do hereby commemorate Marianne L. Viverito for her grace-filled life and do hereby express our condolences to her family; and
