WHEREAS, Parents Michelle and Andrew Hranka welcomed their new baby, daughter Etta Jane, into the world on Thursday, October 25, 2018. On that date, Etta Jane made her first appearance weighing seven pounds, six ounces and stretching the tape to twenty and a half inches; and

WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of this blessed event by the Honorable Margaret Laurino, Alderman of the 39^th Ward; and

WHEREAS, The joy of Etta's arrival has spread to the family's many dear friends and loving relatives, especially to her big brother Abraham; and

WHEREAS, The announcement of this special birth represents the future of Chicago and the endless possibilities for our great city; now, therefore,

Be It Resolved, That we, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago, gathered here this twenty-third day of January 2019, do hereby extend our heartiest congratulations to Michelle and Andrew Hranka. We proudly welcome their daughter, Etta Jane, into the world where we are confident she will grow, prosper and, following in her family's footsteps, make many significant contributions to the world.

Be It Further Resolved, That a suitable copy of this resolution be prepared and presented to the family of Etta Jane Hranka.
