RESOLUTION


WHEREAS, The Honorable Saul Anthony Perdomo has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God at the age of 79; and

WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by Alderman Edward M. Burke; and

WHEREAS, The Honorable Saul Anthony Perdomo was a widely admired member of the judicial community and the loving husband of Barbara Hudetz; and

WHEREAS, The Honorable Saul Anthony Perdomo was the much-adored father of Laura and Carlo and the grandfather of eight to whom he imparted many of the fine and noble qualities that he possessed in abundance; and

WHEREAS, A native of Havana, Cuba, the Honorable Saul Anthony Perdomo emigrated to the United States at the age of 13 and graduated from the University of Miami in Florida and Cumberland School of Law in Birmingham, Alabama; and

WHEREAS, The Honorable Saul Anthony Perdomo spent his entire legal career in Chicago and served with distinction as a Judge of the Circuit Court of Cook County for 18 years; and

WHEREAS, The Honorable Saul Anthony Perdomo previously worked as an Assistant Cook County State's Attorney and criminal defense attorney; and

WHEREAS, The hard work, sacrifice and dedication of the Honorable Saul Anthony Perdomo serve as an example to all; and

WHEREAS, His love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared the Honorable Saul Anthony Perdomo to his family members, friends and all who knew him, and enabled him to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; and

WHEREAS, The Honorable Saul Anthony Perdomo was an individual of great integrity and accomplishment who will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by his many relatives, friends and admirers; and

WHEREAS, To his beloved family, the Honorable Saul Anthony Perdomo imparts a legacy of faithfulness, service and dignity; now, therefore
