TRIBUTE TO THE LATE ALFRED J. "JACK" ROBIN
WHEREAS, It was with great sadness that members of this chamber learned of the death of Alfred J. "Jack" Robin; and
WHEREAS, The City Council has been informed of his passing by Alderman Margaret Laurino; and
WHEREAS, Left to mourn his loss and celebrate his memory are Jack's devoted family members: Wife of 55 years, Carol (Corcoran); children, John (Linda), Jill (Larry), James (VIcki), Jeanine Zarembski, Joseph, and the later Jennifer (Tony) Kaczor; grandchildren, Jack, Haley, Mia, and Jaida Robin, Chris, Sarah, and Mary Kate Gill, Sean, Michael, William, and the late Jessica Kaczor, Kyle, Hannah, Colleen, Tyler, and Robin Zarembski; great-grandson, Liam Gill and a host of extended family and treasured friends. Jack leaves a legacy of faith, dignity and love; and
WHEREAS, Jack Robin was a man of great accomplishment and integrity. He will be deeply missed, but the memory of his character, intelligence, and compassion will live on in those who knew and loved him; now, therefore,
Be It Resolved, That we, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago gathered here this twenty-third day of May 2018 do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Alfred J. "Jack" Robin and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy; and

Be It Further Resolved, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Alfred J. "Jack" Robin as a token of our honor, gratitude, and respect.
