Be It Ordained by the City Council ofthe City of Chicago:
SECTION 1. Permission and authority are hereby given and granted to Cook County, upon the terms and subject to the conditions of this ordinance to construct, install, maintain and use three (3) Conduit(s) under the public right-of-way adjacent to its premises known as 500 E. 51st St
Said Conduit(s) at E. 50th Street measure(s):
One (1) at five hundred thirty-one (531) feet in length, and point one two (.12) feet in width for a total of sixty-three point seven two (63.72) square feet.
Said Conduit(s) at S. Martin Luther King Drive measure(s):
One (1) at two hundred seventy-eight (278) feet in length, and point one two (.12) feet in width for a total of thirty-three point three six (33.36) square feet.
Said Conduit(s) at E. 50th measure(s):
One (1) at six hundred forty-nine (649) feet in length, and point one two (.12) feet in width for a total of seventy-seven point eight eight (77.88) square feet.
The location of said privilege shall be as shown on prints kept on file with the Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection and the Office of the City Clerk.
Said privilege shall be constructed in accordance with plans and specifications approved by the Department of Transportation (Division of Project Development) and Department of Transportation (Office of Underground Coordination).
This grant of privilege in the public way shall be subject to the provisions of Section 10-28-015 and all other required provisions of the Municipal Code of Chicago.
The grantee shall pay to the City of Chicago as compensation for the privilege #1113650 herein granted the sum of eight thousand seven hundred forty-eight ($8,748.00) per annum in advance.
A 25% penalty will be added for payments received after due date.
