CONGRATULATIONS EXTENDED TO SUZY CLAEYS ON BEING RECOGNIZED FOR SUPERIOR ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT.
WHEREAS, Suzy Claeys, a freshman at Resurrection College Preparatory High School, has been recognized for superior academic achievement by the National Society of High School Scholars; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of this significant occasion by The Honorable Margaret Laurino, Alderman ofthe 39th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Suzy Claeys, a Distinguished Alumnus of the Congressional Youth Leadership Council, has represented Chicago at both the Michigan and Illinois State Conferences; and
WHEREAS, Suzy Claeys, a graduate of Queen of All Saints School, is a cheerleader for the nationally ranked Notre Dame High School Cheer Squad and plays on a travel team for Windy City Field Hockey. Suzy Claeys also enjoys drawing landscapes and animals, for relaxation, at the Village Art School; now, therefore,
Be It Resolved, That we, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago, gathered here this fourth day of May, 2011, do hereby extend our heartiest congratulations to Suzy Claeys on being recognized for superior academic achievement by the National Society of High School Scholars, and wish her every success in any and all of her future endeavors; and
Be It Further Resolved, That a suitable copy of this resolution be prepared and presented to Suzy Claeys.
