WHEREAS, God in His infinite Wisdom has called Sophie B. Hlenofsky to her eternal reward; and
 
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of her passing by the Honorable Marty Quinn, Alderman ofthe 13th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Sophie B. Hlenofsky (nee Niziolek) 89. Beloved Wife ofthe late Edward Hlenofsky and the late Stephen Magerl; loving Mother of Christine (Harold) Seiler, Theresa (Frank) Taldone and Thomas (Terrie) (late Paula Kadlubowski) Magerl; dear grandmother of Ervin (Lea-Ann) Domanski, Richard (Dawn) Cieslak, Dawn (Kurt) Tromp, Frank Taldone, Michelle (Ryan) Mahoney, Melanie (Joshua) Schramm and Thomas Magerl; great-grandmother of Bella, Diezel, Lexi, Maverick, Trey, Caleb and Max; devoted daughter of the late Jacob and the late Mary Niziolek; dear sister of the late Bernice (late Frank) Kurzawa, late Walter (late Josephine) Niziolek, late Stephanie (late John) Qual, late Peter (Dorothy) Niziolek, late Frank Niziolek and the late Stella Niziolek; dear aunt of many nieces and nephews. Sophie B. Hlenofsky leaves a legacy of faith, dignity, compassion and love; now, therefore
 
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the Chicago City Council gathered here this seventeenth day of January, 2013, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Sophie B. Hlenofsky and extend to her family and friends our deepest sympathy.
