Please be advised that responsive to authority contained in an Ordinance (the "Ordinance") adopted by the City Council (the "City Council") of the City of Chicago (the "City") on September 27, 2007, authorizing the issuance of up to $900,000,000 aggregate principal amount of general obligation bonds of the City plus original issue discount, the City issued its $312,540,000 General Obligation Bonds, Project and Refunding Series 2007C, $18,350,000 General Obligation Bonds, Taxable Series 2007D, $100,000,000 General Obligation Variable Rate Demand Bonds, Refunding Series 2007E, $80,000,000 General Obligation Variable Rate Demand Bonds, Refunding Series 2007F, and $20,000,000 General Obligation Variable Rate Demand Bonds, Refunding Series 2007G (collectively, the "Bonds") pursuant to a Bond Purchase Agreement entered into with Loop Capital Markets, LLC, as representative of certain underwriters on October 25, 2007, providing for the sale of the Bonds, by the City's Chief Financial Officer, with the concurrence of the Chairman of the Committee on Finance of the City Council, each of the Bonds being dated their date of issuance.
