RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Aurelia A. Siebert has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God at the age of 84; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of her passing by Alderman Edward M. Burke; and
WHEREAS, Aurelia A. Siebert was the beloved wife of the late John; and
WHEREAS, Aurelia A. Siebert was the beloved mother of Anita, Bernadette, Maria and John J. (CPD), the grandmother of nine, and the great-grandmother of twelve; and
WHEREAS, An individual who always put family first, Aurelia A. Siebert was a faithful member of St. Mary Star of the Sea Parish; and
WHEREAS, Aurelia A. Siebert touched the lives of many with her integrity, wisdom and devotion; and
WHEREAS, The hard work, sacrifice and dedication of Aurelia A. Siebert serve as an example to all; and
WHEREAS, Her love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Aurelia A. Siebert to her family members, friends and all who knew her, and enabled her to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; and
WHEREAS, To her beloved family, Aurelia A. Siebert imparts a legacy of faithfulness, service and dignity; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and the members of the Chicago City Council, assembled this twenty-fourth day of July, 2013, do hereby commemorate Aurelia A. Siebert for her grace-filled life and do hereby express our condolences to her family; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Aurelia A. Siebert.
