MEMORIAL RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, John Charles Conway, born on April 9,1927, was called by God to his eternal reward on October 14, 2010; and
WHEREAS, The City Council has been informed of his passing by The Honorable Margaret Laurino, Alderman of the 39th Ward; and
WHEREAS, John Charles Conway, beloved husband of Marjorie, was an active and vital member of his community. The loving father of John K. (Nicolette) Conway, Peggy (Robert) Molina, Katherine (Thomas) Reeve, Maureen (James) DeRose and Robert (Kimberly) Conway; devoted grandfather of Courtney, Jack, Patrick and Cara Conway, Sean (Heather) Molina, Kathryn (Rob) Seiter and Robert Molina, Matthew Reeve, Dominic and Julia DeRose, Sarah, Emily and Nora Conway; cherished great-grandfather of William Seiter and Dylan Molina; dear brother of Irene (the late Anthony) Bucher and Madeline (the late Benjamin) Chitko; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews, John Charles Conway leaves a legacy of faith, compassion, dignity and love; and
WHEREAS, John Charles Conway will be deeply missed, but the memory of his character, intelligence and compassion will live on in those who knew and loved him; now, therefore,
Be It Resolved, That we, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago gathered here this third day of November, 2010, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of John Charles Conway and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
Be It Further Resolved, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of John Charles Conway.
