BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:
 
SECTION 1. Pursuant to Title 9, Chapter 64, Section 010 of the Municipal Code of Chicago, the operator of a vehicle shall operate such vehicle only in the Direction Specified below on the public ways between the limits indicated:
 
 
WARD      AMEND SINGLE DIRECTION:
7      S. Burnham Avenue; Amend Ordinance Passed 07/30/1952, journal page 2874-75,
which reads: S. Burnham Avenue from E. 79th Street to E. 82nd Street; Single Direction - Northerly, by striking E. 79th Street and inserting in lieu thereof: S. Burnham Avenue from the first alley south of E. 79th Street (southeast moving Traffic Two-Ways from E. 79th Street) to the first alley south thereof to E. 82nd Street; Single Direction - Northerly -- (14-00492957) [02013-8466]
26      2000 N. Lawndale Street; Amend Ordinance Passed 08/30/1972, journal page 3632,
which reads: N. Hamlin Avenue from W. Belden Avenue to W. Armitage Avenue by striking W. Armitage Avenue and Inserting in lieu thereof: N. Hamlin Avenue from W. Belden Avenue to the first alley north of W. Armitage Avenue; Single Direction -Southerly - (15-00064006) [02014-8941]
 
 
SECTION 2.  This ordinance shall take effect and be in force here in after its passage and publication.

Your Committee on Pedestrian and Traffic Safety to which were referred proposed ordinance(s) and/or order(s) to establish and/or amend Single Direction of vehicular traffic movement on portions of sundry streets, begs leave to recommend that Your Honorable Body DO PASS the proposed substitute ordinance(s) and/or order(s) transmitted herewith.
This recommendation was concurred in by all members of the Committee present, with no dissenting votes.
