Ordinance
WHEREAS, on November 19, 2014 the City Council of the City of Chicago adopted an ordinance entitled "Submission of Final Statement of Objectives and Projected Use of Funds for Community Development Block Grant Year XLI, as Amended" (the "Year XLI CDBG Ordinance"); and
WHEREAS, The City, through its Department of Family and Support Services, desires to reallocate $75,000 in additional funding to Family Rescue for their Domestic Violence Services Program. These funds were originally awarded to Samaritan Community Center and Wellspring Center for Hope, neither of which remains in operation; and
WHEREAS, The City, through its Department of Planning and Development, desires to increase program income for the Developer Services Program in'the amount of $904,981, which funds have become available due to unexpected repayments of rehabilitation loans; now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:
SECTION 1. The above recitals are expressly incorporated into and made a part of this ordinance.
SECTION 2. The Year XLI CDBG Ordinance, as amended, is hereby further amended by striking the words and figures and adding the words and figures indicated in Exhibit A attached hereto.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon its passage and approval.
