RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, John F. Mulchrone has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God at the age of 87; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by Alderman Edward M Burke; and
WHEREAS, John F. Mulchrone was the loving and devoted husband for 61 years of Donna M., nee Shannon; and
WHEREAS, John F. Mulchrone was the much-adored father of Patrick, John, Peter, Nora, William, Thomas, Robert, Sheila and the late Marian and the late infant Rita, the grandfather of twenty-three and the great-grandfather of three; and
WHEREAS, John F. Mulchrone was the dear brother of Kathleen, Joseph, Mary Ann and the late infant Patrick; and
WHEREAS, John F Mulchrone was a veteran of the United States Army and served his country in the Korean War; and
WHEREAS, John F. Mulchrone retired as a Captain in the Chicago Police Department and was a longtime member of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange; and
WHEREAS, The hard work, sacrifice and dedication of John F. Mulchrone serve as an example to all; and
WHEREAS, His love of.Kfe and ability to live it to the fullest endeared John F. Mulchrone to his family members, friends and all who knew him, and enabled him to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; and
WHEREAS, To his beloved family, John F. Mulchrone imparts a legacy of faithfulness, service and. dignity; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and the members of the Chicago City Council, assembled this fourteenth day of December, 2016, do hereby commemorate John F. Mulchrone for his grace-filled life and do hereby express our condolences to his family; and
