TRAFFIC WARNING SIGN AND/OR SIGNALS

 

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:

 

 

SECTION 1.   Pursuant to Title 9, Chapter 64, of the Municipal Code of Chicago, that the Commissioner of Transportation is hereby authorized and directed to erect and/or amend Traffic Warning Signs and Signals, for the following locations are hereby designated:

13                     West 58th Street and South Mulligan Avenue; Two Way Stop Sign, Stopping

North Lakewood Avenue and West Devon Avenue; All Way Stop Sign. Not Recommended. West Devon Avenue is an Arterial Street. An Engineering Study indicates All Way Stop Signs are not warranted according to established Federal and State Standards and could increase accidents - (16-08086610)

05/18/2016, journal page 24598, which reads: West 118th Street and North Artesian Avenue, Stop Sign, Stopping north bound traffic on North Artesian Avenue, by Striking: North    Artesian Avenue and Inserting in lieu thereof: South Artesian Avenue - (16-07173487) [02016-7132]

 

 

 

SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force here in after its passage and publication.
