BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:


Section 1. Pursuant of Section 2-8-40 of the Municipal Code of Chicago, which allows erection of honorary street name designations, the Commissioner of the Chicago Department of Transportation shall take the necessary action for standardization of W. 79th Street, between S. Seeley Avenue and S. Hamilton Avenue as "Honorary Archbishop Lucius Hall."


Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and publication.

Working for many years for the U.S. Government, with the U.S. Treasury Department and laterwlth the Veterans Administration, his advancement from the clerk's position to Section Chief of Veterans Compensation, Pension and Education was just a mere indication of his ability as a leader. What shaped his career as a skilled, talented organizer was his attitude In his work from youth to adult in God's service as a sincere dedicated spirit filled with God.
