SUBSTITUTE ORDINANCE

WHEREAS, the Annual Appropriation Ordinance for the year 2021 (the "2021 Appropriation Ordinance") of the City of Chicago (the "City") contains estimates of revenues receivable as grants from agencies of the state and federal governments and public and private agencies; and

WHEREAS, the City through its Office ofthe Mayor has been awarded private grant funds in the amount of $140,000 by the OneChicagoFund for the My Chi My Future program; and
WHEREAS, the City through its Department of Housing ("DOH") has been awarded state grant funds in the amount of $1,920,000 by the Illinois Housing Development Authority for the Abandoned Residential Property Municipal Relief program; and

WHEREAS, the City through DOH has been awarded additional federal COVID-19 grant funds in the amount of $102,201,000 by the United States Department of the Treasury for the Emergency Rental Assistance program; and

WHEREAS, the City through its Department of Public Health ("CDPH") has been awarded federal grant funds in the amount of $3,895,000 by the United States Department of Health and Human Services ("HHS") for the Developing Health Literacy program; and

WHEREAS, the City through CDPH has been awarded federal pass-through grant funds in the amount of $84,000 by the Illinois Department of Public Health ("IDPH") for the Oral Health Promotion program; and

WHEREAS, the City through CDPH has been awarded additional federal grant funds in the amount of $887,000 by HHS for the Public Health Emergency Preparedness program; and
WHEREAS, the City through CDPH has been awarded federal COVID-19 grant funds in the amount of $3,421,000 by HHS for the Sexually Transmitted Disease Prevention and Control program; and

WHEREAS, the City through CDPH has been awarded additional state grant funds in the amount of $320,000 by IDPH for the Tobacco-Free Communities program; and
