ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:


SECTION 1. Section 8-32-030 Is hereby amended by deleting the language struck through and inserting the language underscored, as follows:

8-32-030 Rules and regulations - Enforcement.
The Corporation Counsel, in consultation with the superintendent of polity is authorized to adopt such rules and regulations as thev-he may deem appropriate for the proper administration and enforcement ofthe provisions of this chapter, except section 8-32-090. including rules for the establishment of uniform ticketing procedures, administrative hearing procedures, and guidance to departments to allow their personnel authorized under subsection (b) to enforce the provisions of this chapter.
Subject to the rules adopted pursuant to subsection (a), this Chapter, excluding Section 8-32-090. may be enforced bv anyone who has the authority to issue citations for violations of the Cltv Code on behalf of: the Department of Buildings; the Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection: the Department of Family and Support Services: the Department of Finance: the Department of Housing: the Department of Planning and Development: the Department of Public Health: the Department of Streets and Sanitation: the Department of Transportation: or the Chicago Police Department, or any of their respective successor departments.


SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon passage and approval.
