Title: Congratulations extended to Sauganash School cross-country team on finishing second in City championship

A Resolution
WHEREAS, on October 25 , 2014, members of the Sauganash School cross country team finished as runners-up in the City Championship for the fall 2014 season, a successful season in which they became second best cross country team in the entire City of Chicago; and
WHEREAS, The Honorable Margaret Laurino, Alderman ofthe 39th Ward, has apprised this esteemed body of this achievement; and
WHEREAS, having worked hard hard all season in a grueling sport that tests one's physical and mental endurance, this Sauganash School team "kicked" at the right time, crossing the season's finish line as a group that garnered pride from their classmates, teachers, and community; and
WHEREAS, team members Olivia Baxter, Cynthia Camacho, Nikki Camacho, Sofia Camacho, Claire Considine, Chelsea Merten, and Sydney Moore represented the 7th and 8th grade girls team, and Andy Camacho, Daniel Daugherty, Jake Heindrichs, Will Henson, Zach Martin, Brandon Monge, and Nathan Sondag represented the 5th and 6th grade boys team. Coached by Sean Kennedy and Maureen Mackin, these young men and women were able to achieve many of their goals for the season, and learned a great deal in the process; now, therefore
Be It Resolved; that we, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago gathered here this nineteenth day of November, 2014, do hereby express our congratulations to the members of the Sauganash School cross country team on a season of races well ran, and glory well earned; and
Be It Further Resolved, that a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Sauganash School, its cross country team members, and coaches.
