ORDERED, that the Department of Finance and Office of the Comptroller of the City Chicago shall identify and sequester the twenty-five (25) million dollars identified by the Office of the City Treasurer as additional returns on investments for the purpose of preparing an ordinance to be considered at the next convening of the Committee on Finance.

BE IT FURTHER ORDERED, that the Department of Finance and the Office of the Comptroller work with the Legislative Reference Bureau to prepare an appropriation ordinance for the purpose of spending the identified sum of 25 million through the Department of Family Services for the following programs: violence prevention and intervention, after school programs, and job training programs in all 50 wards in the evenly distributed amount of five-hundred thousand (500,000) dollars per ward.
